The college continuously expands the opening of education to the outside world, actively participates in serving the national Belt and Road Initiative, and vigorously promotes Sino-foreign cooperation and exchange. In May 2019, the college built the Sino-Philippine Belt and Road Construction Skill Talent Silk Road Institute with Batangas State University in the Philippines. It was selected as one of the first batch of “Belt and Road ‘Silk Road Institute’” in Zhejiang Province. The school and Don Bosco College of the Philippines set up the China-Philippines Construction Vocational Education Alliance. The school exported 4 curriculum standards to Antipolo Institute of Technology of the Philippines; sent a delegation of outstanding teachers to the Philippines to hold the Chinese Architecture Culture Exhibition; hosted the China-Philippines National Vocational Skills Competency Standards Development Seminar, led the domestic sister colleges and universities and the Philippine government to reach a cooperation intention of 88 standard development, and signed MOUs on the cooperation projects of Philippine National Vocational Skill Standard Development with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority of the Philippines(TESDA) and China-Philippines Silk Road Institute Foundation and took the lead in and participated in the construction of 5 standards. The college also organized a number of training courses in the field of construction of “Chinese Language+Vocational Skills” between China and the Philippines with Antipolo Institute of Technology of the Philippines, Cebu Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Cavite National University of the Philippines.

The college also established the China-Indonesia Silk Road Institute with Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, and exported two course standards.
