Construction Engineering School, formerly known as Zhejiang Provincial Construction Industry School Civil Engineering and Construction Department, was founded in 1958 and is one of the earliest departments in the college. The school is the construction unit of Zhejiang Provincial High-level Vocational School Construction Unit with Chinese Characteristics. Based on the construction industry chain, the school builds the professional group of modern construction technology; based on the large civil construction job chain, it clarifies the positioning of professional group talent training; based on the task chain of the construction process, it builds the modularized professional group curriculum system.
There are 106 full-time teachers in the school, including 7 professors or professor level senior engineer, 37 associate professors or senior engineers, with the proportion of senior titles reaching 38.1%; 93 master's and doctoral degree holders, accounting for 88.57%; and the proportion of dual-quality teachers reaching 100%. The teaching team of Construction Engineering Technology was awarded as the core curriculum teaching team of Zhejiang Province, and won the title of “the Most Beautiful Construction Team” of Zhejiang Province; the teachers of the college participated in the construction of two national teachers' teaching innovation teams, and presided over the construction of the teaching team of Huang Dainian-style teachers of Zhejiang colleges and universities; Annual Figure of College Counselor in Zhejiang Province; Zhejiang Provincial Model of Teacher Ethics; the school is the National Housing and Urban-Rural Development Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee member units.
The college has 9 vocational education bases for skillful and scarce talents supported by the central government, such as construction engineering technology and urban underground comprehensive pipeline corridor, and 12 BIM training rooms and construction material testing laboratories.
